Summer actuarial internship with Milliman's Atlantic Region P&C practice. You will perform actuarial analyses for P&C consulting projects, primarily using Excel with opportunities to apply R/Python and other statistical tools. This full-time, 10–12 week hybrid internship is based in Wakefield, MA (Boston area) or Burlington, VT and is aimed at recent graduates with at least one actuarial exam passed.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Summer Actuarial Intern within Milliman's Atlantic Region P&C practice
- Execute client actuarial analyses and produce Excel-based deliverables
- Opportunity to use R, Python, VBA, SAS and statistical modelling tools
- Hybrid role – minimum three days per week onsite in Wakefield, MA or Burlington, VT
- Designed for recent grads with 1+ actuarial exams passed (CAS path interest)
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Passed at least one actuarial exam
- Proficiency with MS Excel
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of one actuarial exam passed at application
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field
- Proficiency with MS Excel and Word
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available full-time for 10–12 weeks (37.5 hours/week)
