Summer 2027 Corporate Actuarial internship in Hartford, Connecticut, within a retirement-focused financial services business. Over 10 weeks, you’ll support actuarial modeling, valuation and reporting, assumption analysis, and strategic projects while working with experienced actuaries and presenting your work to business leaders.

Requirements

Must have

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university (Bachelor's or Master's program)
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • Available for full 10-week program (June 2 – August 6, 2027)
  • Must reside near or be able to reliably commute to Hartford, CT (in-person internship)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship (CPT/OPT not supported)

Strongly preferred

  • At least 2 years of academic progress toward a bachelor’s degree
  • Expected to graduate and be available for full-time employment by mid-2028
  • Preferred majors: Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or other math-focused majors
  • Passage of one or more Society of Actuaries exams
  • Knowledge of SQL or programming languages (Python, VBA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of finance or actuarial fields

Nice to have

  • Interest in applying math, data, and science to inform business strategy
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
