Summer actuarial internship in Boston, Massachusetts, running May–August 2027. You'll be placed in a pricing, valuation, modeling, risk management, asset-liability management, or experience analytics department, with process improvement and presentation work. The hybrid schedule is Tuesday–Thursday in the office and remote Monday and Friday.
Requirements
Must have
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strongly preferred
Maintaining a strong GPA, demonstrating success in relevant coursework
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical team members
Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with an innovative mindset and a capacity to grasp the 'big picture'
Highly motivated, results-driven self-starter, adept at working efficiently under tight deadlines
Familiarity with the Society of Actuaries (SOA) qualification process
Nice to have
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Programming skills
Relevant actuarial experience
Commitment towards FSA designations (e.g. passing at least one SOA exam)
