Client-facing reinsurance advisor

Closer to consulting client advisory than a pricing-underwriting partner because it serves multiple brokers and clients and extends beyond individual transactions.

Senior P&C actuarial advisory role with Guy Carpenter in Chicago, focused on reinsurance and specialty risks. You’ll advise brokers and clients, modify complex models, support pricing and valuation, lead an actuarial team, and contribute to business development. The hybrid schedule requires three days in the office and two remote.

Requirements

Must have

Minimum ACAS designation
At least 7-10 years of industry experience
Experience in pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Coding experience in programming languages such as Alteryx, R, Python, VBA, or SQL
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

Strongly preferred

FCAS designation

Nice to have

Experience in reinsurance
Experience in Financial Lines such as Errors & Omissions (E&O) and Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance
