JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead corporate actuarial team for life reinsurance and valuation across US and Bermuda
  • Oversee US statutory valuations, actuarial opinions, IFRS17 and Solvency II reporting
  • Drive implementation of principle-based reserving and valuation methodology
  • Senior executive reporting to the CFO with talent management responsibilities
  • Based in Orlando, FL with up to 25% domestic and international travel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • life reinsurance valuation
  • IFRS17 and Solvency II valuation experience
  • US statutory valuations and actuarial opinions
  • principle-based reserving implementation
  • model governance and assumption setting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 15 years progressive actuarial and risk management experience
  • At least 10 years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
  • Deep experience with US statutory valuations and issuing actuarial opinions
  • Expertise in IFRS17, Solvency II and principle-based reserving
