Closer to an enterprise capital and risk strategy role than a people-leadership role alone—the remit connects actuarial governance to balance sheet, capital, and executive decisions.

Executive Life and annuity actuarial leadership role, remote across the United States. Reporting to the Chief Actuary, the SVP & Corporate Actuary oversees enterprise modeling, statutory valuation, international reporting, actuarial governance, capital management, and transformation while advising senior executives.

Requirements

Must have

  • FSA and MAAA designations
  • 15+ years of actuarial experience
  • Deep expertise in life insurance and annuity actuarial disciplines
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Remote network minimum: 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload, fiber/cable/DSL

Strongly preferred

  • Experience leading enterprise actuarial functions within a life insurance and annuity organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance
  • Deep understanding of U.S. statutory valuation and appointed actuary governance
  • Ability to communicate financial results to executive audiences
  • Proven leader of leaders with team development experience
  • Experience leading modernization or transformation initiatives
  • Passion for leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and AI
  • Ability to travel approximately 10-15% annually

Nice to have

  • International reporting or global actuarial coordination experience
  • Familiarity with Bermuda regulatory frameworks, EEVM, Asset Adequacy Analysis, and international capital standards
