You will design and price reinsurance and risk-transfer solutions, build pricing and evaluation models, and support cash-flow testing, PBR and capital-related analysis. The role involves client-facing presentations and collaboration with brokers and internal analytics teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead pricing and evaluation of life and annuity reinsurance and risk-transfer solutions
- Develop and maintain pricing and cash-flow testing models (PBR, RBC awareness)
- Present results to clients, prospects and industry audiences
- Based in Boston with flexibility across Gallagher Re offices (NY, PHI, MSP, Portland ME)
- Senior role; FSA preferred with at least seven years' life/annuity experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and annuity actuarial experience
- Pricing and product development experience
- Statutory reinsurance accounting concepts
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of life and annuity actuarial experience
- Strong knowledge of pricing, product development, and statutory reinsurance accounting
- Proven experience building pricing and evaluation models and cash-flow testing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills
