JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead retirement actuarial valuation and financial reporting under US GAAP and US Statutory
  • Own ALM coordination, cash-flow testing and model optimisation for annuity products
  • Drive reinsurance strategy, review transactions, and act as primary reinsurance contact
  • Senior leadership role reporting to the Retirement Actuarial lead SVP; remote-first
  • Manage actuarial teams, review work, and present quarterly results to CEO

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • fixed indexed annuity experience
  • US GAAP FAS 133 expertise
  • US Statutory Actuarial Guideline 33/35 expertise
  • reinsurance analysis and transaction experience
  • actuarial financial reporting and profitability analysis

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • FSA designation required
  • 10+ years of insurance-related actuarial experience
  • 2+ years of direct reinsurance experience
  • Fixed indexed annuity experience and knowledge of FAS 133 and AG 33/35
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (no visa sponsorship)
