Senior P&C reinsurance actuarial role on Guy Carpenter’s Global Analytics team, with a Dallas hybrid option. As an ACAS individual contributor, you’ll develop complex pricing, valuation, capital and risk analyses, advise brokers and clients on reinsurance structures, and use Python, Databricks and AI-enabled tools to improve analytics.
Requirements
Strongly preferred
ACAS designation
5–7 years of industry experience
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field
Pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling experience
Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
Visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Coding experience in Python, Alteryx, R, VBA, or SQL
Comfortable working in interactive teams with brokers and clients
Ability to lead day-to-day parts of a project and make decisions
Strong problem-solving skills
Nice to have
Reinsurance actuarial, stochastic modeling and/or capital modeling experience
Experience influencing senior management
Diverse background working in various roles and lines of business
Demonstrated use of automation/AI to improve analytical efficiency
