Executive-level P&C reinsurance actuarial role on Guy Carpenter’s Global Analytics team, with a Philadelphia hybrid option. As an individual contributor, you’ll advise brokers and clients, develop complex pricing and capital analyses, assess reinsurance structures, and use Python, Databricks, and AI-enabled tools to make analytics more scalable.

Requirements

Must have

  • ACAS designation
  • 5–7 years in the industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field

Strongly preferred

  • Pricing, valuation, and/or capital modeling experience
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite
  • Visualization skills in Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Coding experience in Python, Alteryx, R, VBA, or SQL; comfort with Databricks
  • Comfortable working in interactive teams with brokers and clients
  • Ability to lead day-to-day parts of a project and make decisions to keep projects moving forward
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Reinsurance actuarial experience
  • Stochastic modeling and/or capital modeling experience
  • Experience influencing senior management
  • Demonstrated use of automation/AI to improve analytical efficiency and consistency
