Closer to a reserving/reporting-cycle role than a capital strategy role—the recurring review cadence and reserve governance, not ORSA or capital work, defines it.
Executive-level P&C reserving role in Everest’s Global Reserving organization, listed in Zurich with Warren, NJ as the primary location. You will oversee reserve adequacy, governance, financial reporting, and executive communication across commercial insurance and reinsurance portfolios, while leading actuaries and partnering with Finance, Claims, Pricing, and Underwriting.
Requirements
Must have
- FCAS designation
- 15+ years of P&C actuarial experience
Strongly preferred
- Extensive reserving leadership across commercial insurance and/or reinsurance
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- Demonstrated experience presenting reserve recommendations to executive management
- Proven people leadership and talent development experience
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and strategic thinking skills
