JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead the Reserving Innovation & Data team to modernize reserving analytics
  • Own data quality, ResQ implementation, and integrations with IT/Enterprise Data
  • Drive data strategy using SQL, Python, Airflow and cloud (Snowflake)
  • Manage and mentor mid-level and junior actuarial/data staff
  • Hybrid role based in Jersey City, NJ; VP-level position

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Property and Casualty actuarial or data experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years Property & Casualty experience in actuarial and/or data functions
  • 5+ years managing a team
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and Python (or other coding language)
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Snowflake) and orchestration (Airflow)
  • Ability to operate independently and lead cross-functional initiatives
