Paid 10-week actuarial internship in Chicago with an insurer's Actuary team. You will support pricing analyses, data validation, actuarial models, dashboards, and trend analysis while collaborating with underwriting, finance, and claims. The program includes classroom training, mentoring, senior-leader exposure, and potential discussion of full-time trainee opportunities.

Requirements

Must have

Must be sitting for actuarial exam
Ability to be onsite in Chicago office 4 days a week

Strongly preferred

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or related quantitative field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Nice to have

Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams highly preferred
Experience with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, or other analytical tools is a plus
