Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in a reinsurance context (Greensboro, NC). Work centers on loss reserving, forecasting, statutory reporting and developing actuarial methodologies. You'll support reserve analyses for assumed and ceded business, produce reports, and help transition forecasting/reserving models.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support loss reserving, reserve analyses and statutory reporting for assumed and ceded business
- Translate forecasting model output and assist with Arch's Realistic Disaster Scenario forecast
- Develop reports monitoring model accuracy, stability and sensitivity
- Improve automation of reserving/forecasting tools and support next-gen model transitions
- Hybrid role based in Greensboro, NC; 0–2 years experience, 2 actuarial exams minimum

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree required
- Completion of at least 2 actuarial exams
- 0–2 years of actuarial-related experience (internship preferred)

- Basic knowledge of actuarial reserving and forecasting practices
