JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support healthcare analytics, pricing, and reserving for PEHP benefit plans
  • Build and check reports using Excel, SQL, and Tableau
  • Price benefits and respond to underwriting RFPs
  • Analyze IBNR for large agencies and reconcile authoritative data sources
  • Mostly remote (remote work available 9 out of every 10 workdays)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • IBNR/reserving analysis for large agencies
  • Responding to underwriting requests for proposals

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent) required
  • Actuarial exam progress required: 1/3/5 SOA exams depending on level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex model tracing
  • Working knowledge of SQL required
