Closer to a data-science crossover than a conventional pricing role because AI adoption and solution delivery are explicit accountabilities.

Senior Health actuarial role in Newark, New Jersey, with remote work for eligible residents of NJ, NY, PA, CT, or DE. You’ll support Government Programs trend forecasting across Medicare, PDP, DSNP, and Medicaid, including pricing studies, benefit and cost-sharing analysis, regulatory impact assessment, and AI integration.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 4 years of actuarial, statistical, healthcare analytics, or related experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Strongly preferred

  • Progress toward Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation
  • Health insurance, healthcare, or managed care experience
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, tools, and platforms including generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI assistants, and low-code/no-code AI tools
  • ASA certification
  • Experience with SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar analytical/programming tools
  • Working knowledge of actuarial concepts, data analysis, and statistical methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
