Closer to a transformation build role than a standard pricing seat because the roadmap and AI-enabled workflows are still being developed.

Associate P&C actuarial role in Jersey City, NJ, focused on pricing, predictive modelling, and AI/data transformation for ISO loss costs and related insurance data. You’ll help design actuarial workflows, validate AI-enabled tools, and collaborate with operational and developer teams while progressing toward ACAS. The role is hybrid from Jersey City or remote while working Eastern Time hours.

Requirements

Must have

1-2 years of P&C actuarial experience, ideally with pricing or underwriting functions
Actively pursuing ACAS, with at least 3 exams
Familiarity with actuarial software and tools (e.g., R and/or Python, SQL, Excel)
Strong learning agility and willingness to work independently on well-scoped tasks

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related major
Comfort working with ambiguity and non-standardized processes; eagerness to learn from complex, diverse datasets
Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Nice to have

Familiarity with ISO loss costs and/or ISO data products
Interest or experience in generative AI tools
