Summer 2027 retirement actuarial internship with Indiana Public Retirement System in Indianapolis. You will support Finance with pension plan risk management, financial reporting, data evaluation, risk metrics, trend analysis, and presentations for defined benefit and defined contribution plans.
Requirements
Must have
- Current enrollment as a rising senior or junior in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or similar field
- Available to work at least 10 weeks from May 2027 through August 2027
- Must live in Indiana
- No visa sponsorship available (now or in future)
Strongly preferred
- Attention to detail in evaluating data specific to pension plan risks
- Skill in prioritizing work assignments to manage workload in a changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships in a team environment
- Considerable skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Nice to have
- Successful completion of one or more actuarial examinations
