Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in Gallagher Re’s 24-month REACH development program, based in Walnut Creek, California with a hybrid schedule. You’ll work in multi-line reinsurance broking on large datasets, client analyses, pricing models, and reinsurance optimization while progressing toward ACAS/FCAS.

Requirements

Must have

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, finance, or related field
Passed a minimum of one actuarial exam
Intent to pursue ACAS/FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society
Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, statistical modeling)
Strong technological proficiency to use various software efficiently
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client and colleague engagement
Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL five times for training

Nice to have

Previous internship or work experience in a related field
Knowledge of or curiosity about the reinsurance broking and risk management industry
