Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in Gallagher Re’s 24-month REACH program, based in Chicago with a hybrid schedule. You’ll support reinsurance pricing and broking through large-data analysis, client proposals, pricing models, and risk-transfer work. The role suits graduates or career changers who have passed at least one CAS exam and intend to pursue ACAS/FCAS.

Requirements

Must have

  • Passed a minimum of one actuarial exam

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, etc.)
  • Intent to pursue ACAS/FCAS designation from the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, statistical modeling)
  • Strong technological proficiency to use various software for efficient task completion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for client and colleague engagement
  • Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL for five training sessions

Nice to have

  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of or curiosity about the reinsurance broking and risk management industry
