Structured early-career development program

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy IC role because formal development, mentoring, and exam progression are central to the experience.

Entry-level P&C actuarial role in Gallagher Re’s 24-month REACH program, based in New York with a hybrid schedule. You’ll work in multi-line reinsurance broking on pricing, risk-transfer analysis, client proposals, and large-data projects while progressing toward ACAS/FCAS. Training includes paid study time, covered exam materials and fees, and travel to Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

Requirements

Must have

  • Passed a minimum of one actuarial exam

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Math, etc.)
  • Intent to pursue ACAS/FCAS designation
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, statistical modeling)
  • Strong technological proficiency with various software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL for training (5 times)

Nice to have

  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of or curiosity about reinsurance broking and risk management
