Closer to a live-transaction pricing partner than a modelling-heavy IC because case bids, terms and contracts shape the work.

Actuarial Associate role in MetLife’s US Pension Risk Transfer Pricing team in New York. You’ll price pension risk transfer transactions end to end, develop assumptions, assess participant data, support contracts and post-sale work, and contribute to product initiatives. The role seeks an ASA or Pre-FSA with at least three years of actuarial experience.

Requirements

Must have

  • 3+ years of actuarial experience
  • ASA or Pre-FSA designation (Society of Actuaries)
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics or actuarial science

Strongly preferred

  • Proficiency in Excel, Access, Visual Basic, C++ or other programming languages
  • Excellent analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High degree of business and financial acumen
