Life actuarial internship with MetLife’s Actuarial Resources team in New York, covering pricing, reserving, financial analysis, and asset-liability management. The structured 10-week program gives students project exposure, learning sessions, networking, and presentations to actuarial leaders. This is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office.

Strongly preferred
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in actuarial science or related quantitative/technical/business field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong Excel skills with pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation, lookup functions
Strong mathematical, analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data for business insights
Leadership experience, strong communication skills, and self-motivation
Interest in learning programming languages, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies
Nice to have
Currently enrolled in a master's degree program
Successful completion of one or more SOA exams
Experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, VBA or similar programming languages
