P&C Actuarial Data internship in Chicago, supporting actuarial teams during a 12-week summer program. You’ll help standardize processes, develop data-processing pipelines, and use Excel and other technologies to answer actuarial questions. The role is onsite and designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree.

Requirements

Must have

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • Demonstrate sufficient progress in understanding and applying basic actuarial principles
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no sponsorship available

Strongly preferred

  • Excel experience
  • Interest in the insurance industry
  • Knowledge of the actuarial exam process
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply technical concepts
  • Ownership of tasks; works within deadlines and manages time with guidance
  • Adapts behavior based on prior mistakes, accepts feedback, and seeks assistance as needed
