Life actuarial internship with MetLife’s Actuarial Resources team in Bridgewater, New Jersey. Over a structured 10-week program, you may work on pricing, reserves, actuarial modeling, financial analysis, ALM, or investments while presenting project results to actuarial leaders. The hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office.

Strongly preferred
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (actuarial science, quantitative, technical, business, or similar field)
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation, lookup functions, data analysis)
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Leadership experience and strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in learning programming languages, data analysis tools, and emerging technologies
Nice to have
Currently enrolled in a master's degree program (preferred)
Successful completion of one or more SOA exams (preferred)
Experience with Python, R, SQL, SAS, VBA or similar programming languages (preferred)
Familiarity with AI and emerging technologies (preferred)
Interest in pursuing an actuarial career (preferred)
