Summer P&C actuarial internship with QBE’s North America Actuarial organization in Madison, Wisconsin. You’ll support pricing, reserving, reinsurance, modeling, and business planning through data analysis and project work, with exposure to actuaries and senior actuarial students. The full-time role runs June 1 to August 6, 2027, and is hybrid with four office days per week.

Must have

Must be returning to college/university after internship
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

Full-time enrollment in a bachelor's in Actuarial Science
Completion of High School Diploma/GED
Course work or relevant experience with demonstrated achievements

Nice to have

At least one actuarial exam passed
Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, SAS, or Julia
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data
Strong mathematical foundation in calculus, probability, and linear algebra
Attention to detail for data analysis and modeling accuracy
Effective communication skills
Understanding of probability theory and statistical distributions
Familiarity with property and casualty insurance products and terminology
Understanding of basic P&C ratemaking and reserving principles
