Closer to consulting than a modelling-heavy internal role because the work spans multiple insurer engagements and produces client deliverables.

Life actuarial Experienced Associate role in KPMG’s Atlanta Audit & Assurance Practice. You’ll support advisory and audit engagements for life insurers and reinsurers, covering valuation, financial reporting, reserving, capital assessment, and actuarial modeling across Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum 1 year of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
  • Progress toward ASA designation
  • Working knowledge of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
  • Exposure to U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, and BSCR
  • Experience with actuarial valuation, financial reporting, analytics, or modeling platforms
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
