Client-facing actuarial advisory

Closer to consulting advisory than a carrier specialist role because work spans multiple client engagements rather than one internal portfolio.

Life actuarial advisory role in KPMG's Dallas practice, supporting insurers, reinsurers, and financial services clients. You will work across valuation, reserving, capital assessment, financial reporting, modeling, and transformation using platforms such as AXIS and Prophet. The role is aimed at an Associate with at least one year of experience and progress toward ASA preferred.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum one year of recent actuarial experience in insurance, reinsurance, consulting, auditing, financial reporting, valuation, or modeling
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Life, Annuity, and Long-Duration Health products
  • Exposure to U.S. GAAP, Statutory Accounting, IFRS, RBC, Economic Capital, and BSCR
  • Experience with actuarial valuation, financial reporting, analytics, or modeling platforms
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to have

  • Progress toward ASA designation
