Closer to consulting client-facing than an internal pricing role because service delivery, recommendations, client contact, and proposals are core to the position.
Actuarial Manager role in Marsh’s Government Human Services Consulting practice in Atlanta, focused on Medicaid healthcare consulting. You’ll lead client engagements, review complex financial and pricing analyses, support plan design and capitated rate work, and guide junior staff. The role is hybrid, with at least three days per week in the local office or onsite with clients.
Requirements
Must have
- BA/BS degree
- 10+ years health actuarial experience
- 3+ years of Medicaid leadership actuarial experience
- Actuarial credentials (ASA, FSA, or MAAA)
- Ability to handle client and project management in demanding environment with tight deadlines
Strongly preferred
- Medicaid actuarial experience spanning multiple states, programs, health insurers, or Federal agencies
- Actuarial consulting experience
- Experience leading large teams and/or large, complex projects
- Experience related to health plan analysis or capitated rate development
