Actuarial Manager role in Selective Insurance’s Charlotte, North Carolina Actuarial Pricing team. This hybrid P&C position oversees pricing analyses, supports underwriting and business units, maintains pricing models, and manages actuarial staff. The role requires 5-7 years of P&C experience and FCAS or near completion, with a salary range of $155,000-$201,000.

Requirements

Must have

  • College degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or Economics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train and develop actuarial staff

Strongly preferred

  • 5-7 years of Property/Casualty actuarial experience
  • FCAS or near completion
  • Advanced actuarial and analytical skills
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Ability to hire and retain actuarial talent
