Senior Manager-level P&C actuarial consulting role in New York, with hybrid/remote flexibility across the US and Canada. You will provide technical judgment across pricing, reserving, and capital modelling, validate stochastic and deterministic models, lead client work, and advise senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have

  • Fellowship in a recognized actuarial body (FCAS/FIA) or equivalent senior actuarial qualification
  • Substantial hands-on experience in reserving, pricing, and/or capital/regulatory modelling within P&C insurance or reinsurance

Strongly preferred

  • Experience with Python, VBA, SQL, or R
  • Demonstrated experience preparing actuarial reports or papers and interacting with senior stakeholders and auditors
  • Proven ability to challenge model development teams and translate actuarial judgement into testable, auditable requirements

Nice to have

  • Track record of running innovation or efficiency projects
  • Proven mentoring/training experience for junior actuaries
