Principal-level P&C actuarial consulting role in Boston, with hybrid work and offices in several US cities. You’ll lead complex multi-line engagements covering reserving, pricing, predictive analytics, and economic capital, while managing senior client relationships, business development, innovation, and people leadership.
Requirements
Must have
ACAS or FCAS credential required
Strongly preferred
BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
10+ years of actuarial consulting or insurance industry experience within Property & Casualty
Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading complex engagements
Proven business development experience, including generating new opportunities and expanding client relationships
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Nice to have
Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or advanced analytics within actuarial or consulting environments
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical tools
Experience working with cross-functional technology or engineering teams
Thought leadership or industry visibility through publications, speaking engagements, or professional organizations
