Role type

Client-facing actuarial consulting leader

Closer to client-facing consulting than an internal modelling role because growth, executive relationships and engagement leadership are core to the remit.

Principal-level P&C actuarial consulting role in Atlanta, with additional US office locations available. You will lead complex client engagements spanning reserving, pricing, predictive analytics and economic capital, while driving business development, mentoring teams and modernizing delivery with AI and automation.

Requirements

Must have

  • BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • ACAS or FCAS credential
  • 10+ years of actuarial consulting or insurance industry experience within Property & Casualty
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and leading complex engagements
  • Proven business development experience, including generating new opportunities and expanding client relationships

Strongly preferred

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with client-oriented mindset
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience leveraging AI technologies, automation tools, or advanced analytics within actuarial or consulting environments
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL or similar analytical tools
  • Experience working with cross-functional technology or engineering teams
  • Thought leadership or industry visibility through publications, speaking engagements, or professional organizations
