Client-facing actuarial consultant

Closer to consulting than a carrier specialist because the work spans multiple client projects and lines rather than one internal portfolio.

Senior P&C actuarial consulting role in KPMG's New York Audit practice. You will support loss reserving, ratemaking, experience studies, and modeling across commercial lines, personal lines, and reinsurance, while contributing to client advisory and audit projects.

Requirements

Must have

  • Minimum 3 years of recent P&C actuarial experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Passed two actuarial exams
  • Strong academic background in actuarial science, applied statistics, financial analysis, insurance, or mathematics
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize without intensive direction
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Solid technical writing and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

  • ASA or ACAS designation
