JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Evaluate M&A and block reinsurance transactions for Nationwide Financial
- Build financial, pricing and ALM models to assess transaction economics
- Prepare executive-level deal materials and present recommendations
- Work with LOB, Finance, Legal, Investments, Tax, Risk and external advisors
- Columbus, OH role; remote candidates with critical skills may be considered
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- M&A transactions and corporate development
- Universal life products (UL, ULSG, IUL, VUL) experience
- Asset modeling and ALM (AXIS or MG-ALFA preferred)
- Financial reporting under US GAAP, Statutory, Tax and Bermuda EBS
- Advanced Excel/VBA and database application experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- FSA designation required
- 6+ years of actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance
- Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, US Statutory, US Tax, and Bermuda EBS
- Advanced Excel/VBA and database application skills
- Must be authorized to work without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship
