Associate-level Health actuary role in Columbus, Georgia, supporting supplemental health product development and experience studies. You’ll analyze morbidity, mortality, and termination data, develop actuarial and financial models, and present findings to business leaders. The hybrid schedule requires at least 60% of the work week in the Columbus office.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree in actuarial science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- ASA designation from the Society of Actuaries
- Commitment to continue toward FSA designation
- Candidate in or qualified for the Aflac Actuarial Development Program
- Three years of professional job-related work experience
Strongly preferred
- Proficient at coding models in Excel, Mainframe, SQL, MG-Alfa or similar actuarial software
- Good verbal and written communication skills
