Closer to a pricing-underwriting partnership than a reserving cycle role—the commercial stakeholder work and new-business decisions make it broader than periodic valuation.
Senior P&C actuarial role in Rosemont, Illinois, focused on Professional Liability and related Professional Lines. You’ll lead pricing and reserving analyses, support new business and acquisitions, and advise underwriting and senior leaders on profitable growth.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's degree required
- ACAS designation required
- Minimum of 8–10 years of actuarial experience
- Strong emphasis on Commercial Lines pricing required
- US work authorization required; no visa sponsorship
Strongly preferred
- 5+ years experience in Professional Lines products (E&O, D&O, EPLI)
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to clearly articulate and defend actuarial assumptions and methodologies
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience working in cross-functional environments
- Ability to balance creativity with sound actuarial discipline
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or related analytical field preferred
- FCAS preferred
