Closer to an underwriting partnership role than a modelling-heavy individual-contributor role because pricing opportunities and business collaboration are central.

Entry-level Health actuarial analyst role in Mountain Home, Wyoming, supporting pricing and financial management for fully insured commercial employer health business. You’ll develop pricing assumptions, analyze large datasets, maintain pricing tools, and partner with underwriting and finance on new and renewal opportunities.

Requirements

Must have

  • 0-1 years of related experience required

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related quantitative field strongly preferred
  • Pursuing ASA with 1-2 actuarial exams passed
  • Experience working with large and detailed data sets
