JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Perform quarterly statutory and PBR valuations for non-variable annuities
  • Build and enhance valuation models, analytical tools, and reporting processes
  • Lead VM-22 assumption setting (mortality, lapse, crediting strategy, expenses)
  • Draft VM-31 Actuarial Report and support audit/regulatory requests
  • Remote or hybrid (Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Annuity statutory valuation
  • VM-22 / VM-21 implementation
  • Stochastic modeling and CTE measures
  • Prophet modeling software
  • SQL and data management

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • ASA required; active pursuit of FSA strongly preferred
  • 3–5 years annuity valuation experience
  • VM-22 and/or VM-21 statutory valuation experience required
  • Prophet, SQL, Snowflake, Power BI skills required/preferred
  • Must not require temporary US work authorization
