This Associate Actuary (Governance) role on the Appointed Actuary team at Transamerica oversees actuarial governance and regulatory initiatives. Responsibilities include assumption unlocking governance, coordinating the Assumptions & Methodology Committee, owning expense assumptions, conducting regulatory reviews, and supporting actuarial regulatory projects like PBR and cash flow testing. The role offers high exposure to all product lines and functional areas, reporting to the Director Actuarial.

Key Requirements

  • FSA or equivalent + Bachelor's and 6 years of experience
  • ASA with 10 years of experience accepted in lieu of FSA
  • High quality leadership and prioritization skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication of analytical concepts
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship needed
