Associate P&C actuarial role in The Hanover’s Personal Lines team, based in Worcester, Massachusetts, with hybrid or remote consideration. You’ll lead pricing, reserving, predictive modeling, and broader actuarial projects, explain recommendations to business partners and management, and guide junior staff. The role requires ACAS or equivalent experience, five or more years of technical experience, and SQL/process-automation skills.
Requirements
Must have
- Bachelor's Degree
- Five or more years of technical experience in multiple LOB and/or actuarial disciplines
- ACAS Designation or higher or equivalent work experience
Strongly preferred
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Intermediate programming skills, including the ability to develop and automate processes
- Intermediate programming skills preferably SQL, including the ability to develop and automate processes
Nice to have
- Pursuit of FCAS professional designation
