You’ll explain technical findings to clients, manage projects, and supervise actuarial students. The role is preferred in-office in Seattle, though US-based remote candidates may be considered; compensation is $88,800-$208,380 plus bonus.

Requirements

Must have

  • 4+ years of healthcare actuarial experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Strongly preferred

  • ASA designation
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system
  • Skills in presenting technical concepts to non-technical audience

Nice to have

  • Medicaid rate-setting experience
  • Reserving and year-end statutory financials experience
  • ACA pricing/rate filing experience
  • Medicare Advantage bid development and revenue mechanisms
  • Value-based provider contracting experience
  • Knowledge of SAS, SQL, or R
