Quarterly reserving and reporting role
A reserving/reporting-cycle role rather than a modelling-heavy IC role—the recurring quarterly process is the clearest organizing feature.
Senior P&C reserving role in New York supporting Uber's commercial auto and other insurance coverages. You will estimate unpaid claims liabilities, contribute to quarterly reserving, build claims analysis and visualization tools, and work with finance, claims, data science, and actuarial stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have
- 4+ CAS Exams
- Minimum of 3 years of Property & Casualty (P&C) actuarial experience
Strongly preferred
- Excel skills
- Proficient with SQL (or similar querying language)
- BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or Similar
- ACAS/FCAS designation
- Experience with commercial or personal auto insurance
Nice to have
- Experience with Python, R, or similar coding languages
- Experience working cross functionally with claims and finance
