Closer to a pricing business partner than a pure modelling role—the cross-functional insurance-program context outweighs a standalone model-development focus.
Associate-level P&C pricing role with Uber’s Specialty & International Pricing team in New York. You’ll produce actuarial estimates, improve data and analysis processes, and assess financial impacts for Uber’s commercial and personal auto insurance program while partnering with risk, legal, and finance stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have
- 4+ CAS exams passed
- Minimum 3 years of property and casualty insurance experience
Strongly preferred
- BA/BS in Math, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or similar
- Excel skills
- Proficient with SQL or similar querying language
Nice to have
- ACAS/FCAS designation or equivalent
- Experience with R, Python or similar coding languages
- Experience with commercial or personal auto insurance
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking and teamwork skills
- Balance attention to detail with swift practical execution
- Drive to learn complex topics
- Enthusiasm about Uber
