AVP-level P&C actuarial pricing role based in New York focused on Travel Insurance and Warranty & Lenders Services. You will develop pricing for complex specialty products, build pricing tools and predictive analyses, and present large-deal pricing to business leaders. Senior role (AVP/Director level) requiring significant actuarial experience and strong communication skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Price specialty P&C lines including Travel Insurance and Warranty & Lenders Services
- Build and maintain tech-based pricing and book-monitoring tools
- Create actuarial studies to improve pricing parameters and segmentation
- Prepare rate filings and present actuarial reviews to business leaders
- Ideal for experienced P&C actuaries (ACAS/FCAS preferred) with strong communication
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C actuarial experience
- Experience presenting to business leaders
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 7+ years of P&C actuarial experience (strong candidates with 4+ considered)
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentations to leaders
- Strong analytical and quantitative foundation
