Role Summary

AVP, Actuary role in Sompo's AgriSompo Analytics and Actuarial team, focusing on agricultural insurance. You will lead pricing, reserving, product development, and predictive analytics, including building satellite-based yield models in R. The role is remote in Ohio or Kansas, or based in Lenexa, KS, and requires strong R programming and 5+ years of actuarial pricing experience.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of actuarial pricing experience
  • Strong R programming with statistical/predictive model development
  • Experience managing analytical processes end-to-end
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or Statistics preferred
  • ACAS or FCAS designation preferred
