AVP-level P&C reserving and loss analytics leadership role in St. Paul, MN. You will co-lead corporate actuarial reserving (NAIC SAO/statutory reporting), run loss analytics, and drive M&A reserving integrations. Role is hands-on technical, builds models/insights, and leads a high-performing reserving team reporting into Arch's actuarial organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead Reserving & Loss Analytics for Middle Market commercial and specialty P&C lines
Co-lead M&A integration and support Corporate Actuarial NAIC SAO processes
Build reserving models and advanced analytics; ensure data quality
People leader – develop and manage a high-performing reserving team
Hybrid role based in St. Paul, MN with HQ-aligned reporting and high visibility

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Commercial and specialty P&C reserving
NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion and statutory reporting
M&A integration for actuarial/reserving processes
Leading reserving teams at a large insurer or reinsurer
Presenting reserving analysis to executive management and auditors

KEY REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of progressively senior P&C actuarial experience
Minimum 5 years in reserving or loss analytics functions
Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or strong ACAS candidates considered
Expert SQL and advanced Excel skills; experience with analytics and reporting
Proven experience managing and developing actuarial teams at a large carrier or reinsurer
