Senior P&C reserving leadership role focused on reinsurance cessions in Chicago. You will own reserving and loss analytics for AINA cessions across Auto, GL, Property and specialty lines, lead projects and partner with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance. AVP-level role requiring ACAS/FCAS and extensive reserving experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Own reserving and loss analytics for AINA cessions to major reinsurers
- Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, claims and finance on trends
- Lead projects and develop reserving models and analytic solutions
- Tech stack includes expert SQL, Excel; Power BI, Snowflake and Python preferred
- Senior leadership role based in Chicago; incentive eligible
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property and Casualty actuarial experience
- 5+ years of reserving function experience
- Reinsurance reserving experience
- Experience presenting to executive management
- Proven expertise leading actuarial teams
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years in progressively complex P&C actuarial roles
- 5+ years of experience within a Reserving function
- Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS)
- Expert SQL and Excel skills; experience with Snowflake and Power BI preferred
- Proven experience leading and developing actuarial teams
