Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role—the 10-week placement combines varied assignments with workshops and mentoring.

Paid 10-week Health actuarial internship in DeWitt, New York, for currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students. Interns support Medicare and health pricing, rate and bid filings, reserves, trend and risk adjustment analyses, regulatory work, and financial projections while receiving mentoring and development workshops.

Requirements

Must have

  • High school diploma and proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time degree program
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Ability to sit/stand at workstation using computer/phone for 3+ hours

Strongly preferred

  • Desired majors: Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial, or Statistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well in a team
