Closer to client-facing consulting than an internal reserving role because the position owns day-to-day pension client relationships and leads a consulting practice.

Director-level Retirement consulting role in Philadelphia focused on multiemployer defined benefit pension and Taft-Hartley plans. You’ll lead a four-person pension team, review actuarial deliverables, manage client relationships, and improve practice operations and compliance. The role is hybrid, with three days in the office and two remotely.

Requirements

Must have

EA (Enrolled Actuary) required
Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field

Strongly preferred

12+ years of actuarial experience in multiemployer pension and benefits consulting environments
Expertise in managing all aspects of multiemployer pension plans including review of actuarial results
Strong technical actuarial background with demonstrated attention to detail
Highly client-service oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

ASA or FSA designation
